Family and Children's Consultants is a group of experienced clinicians. We are dedicated to providing ethical, professional and affordable services to individuals, couples, families, children and adults. The two principal partners in the practice are Marc Charney, Ph.D., LMFT, LPC and Linda Charney, LPC, RPT-S.

We are committed to three ideals that embrace our philosophy of helping: collaboration, compassion and co-creation. We position ourselves as partners with those who seek our help. Problems and difficulties are viewed as separate from person's lives. We feel with and work for our clients. We endeavor to understand the context and meaning of person's efforts to live and survive. We work to lift the restraints that keep people from achieving their dreams and realizing their potential.

Our approach to helping is to establish a relationship and context within which persons can create solutions, new meanings and better lifestyles for themselves. Persons are respected for their knowledge and skills. We strive to create cooperative partnerships with families, schools and health professionals. More times than not, persons will create preferred and healthier lives when given a choice and an opportunity.
